  Made the 100Km return trip from Haast down to Jackson Bay just to go to the Cray Pot. Were not disappointed! This place is just as you see on Google street view. Two lovely ladies cook the most superb seafood in the nicest of settings. The seafood chowder was simply divine! Also had whitebait and Gurnard with salad etc. Perfect meal! Would recommend making the detour just to go to Jackson Bay for a meal. You will be very happy you did. Nice drive down and back as well.
